BOUNDARY BAY AIRPORT – REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (March 2022)
ENGINEERING AND CONSTRUCTION SERVICES
The primary purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to seek two or more qualified Engineering/Construction companies to provide engineering and construction services to Alpha Aviation over a two-year period. Alpha Aviation intends to enter a “Standing Offer Agreement” with the successful proponent or proponents based on the company submission(s).
The Engineering/Construction company will act as the airport engineer and will be responsible to Alpha Aviation for design, cost estimating, tendering, construction supervision and wrap up of specific projects identified. The company will provide appropriate estimates for approval prior to commencement of each project.
Bidding companies must have airport construction experience and be familiar with airport operations and safety requirements.

Site Visit and Tour
Alpha Aviation Inc. will provide a non-mandatory site visit and tour Tuesday March 29th, 2022. Please register in advance. Meeting in the Alpha Aviation Boardroom in the Main Terminal at 10 am with a walking tour of several hangars, fencing, general layout, access points and apron to review current pavement conditions.
Written questions only will be accepted up until March 30th at 1 pm. Answers will be distributed by email to all registered proponents by April 4th, 2022.
Electronic Submission Requirements
All submissions must be in PDF format and the proponent accepts all responsibility for submitting the proposal on time and before the closing date and time. All expenses related to preparation of the proposal are the responsibility of the proponent. All proposals must be submitted to the correct email location and on time by 1 pm April 8th, 2022, to be considered. All proposals will be retained by Alpha Aviation.
